Mark Wright to host new BBC family TV show without Michelle Keegan

Former TOWIE star Mark Wright has gotten a new TV show – which he will star in without his wife Michelle Keegan. The Buckhurst Hill native, 35, is set to present A Wright Old Adventure which will air on the BBC, reports the Mirror.

The show will be with his father, brother and a few close friends and see them take part in adventurous activities and explore Britain’s top attractions. Viewers will be able to see Mark and his pals go go-karting in Llandudno, kitesurfing in Co Down and cycling in the Scottish Highlands.

Speaking about the new venture, Mark said: “I’m absolutely thrilled about it. At this point in my life, I want to do things that I really want to do and love.

“I’m going to travel the country, see places I normally wouldn’t, have adrenaline-pumping experiences and challenge myself.” And I’ll do it all with two of my favorite people on earth – my two best friends , the brother and my father. It’s a dream come true and I can’t wait. It’s going to be one hell of a ride.”

The ex-Corrie Michelle star – who has been married to the reality TV star since 2015 – has not been announced for the next season.

It was revealed last month that the couple’s £3.5million Essex mansion was nearing completion. The couple bought the house in 2019 and have been renovating it since last year.

Their beautiful modest home will include a fantastic swimming pool, which will be ideal for summer gatherings or lounging in the garden. A huge outdoor pool is being built as the duo add the finishing touches to their pad.

In aerial shots taken from the back garden, a gigantic hole has been dug in the earth, with what appears to be a flat concrete floor already shaped at the bottom. The giant pool sits just behind the property – which Mark recently bragged about “four to five acres” in total.

The TV couple have shared the gradual transformation of their massive Essex property with fans on their “Wrighty home” Instagram, but have yet to move in. However, they make sure to keep their fans updated on the whole process.
