Chris Martin takes a vow of meditation and nap.
A 44-year-old Coldplay frontman claims he gets very little sleep at night, but always takes a nap during the day. This was recommended by MMA fighter’s trainer Conor McGregor.
Chris told Rob Brydon on the “Brydon &” podcast, “I don’t get much sleep at night. I meditate and sometimes take a nap. I was encouraged by kickboxer coach Conor McGregor.
“I went to the gym to train after playing in Dublin the last time. He said the key to life was to lie down for 15 minutes and close your eyes in the afternoon.
And Chris revealed he’s given up on dairy for the sake of his health.
He says: What’s interesting when you’re really trying to stay healthy is that some of you are always “yes, but …”
“And my voice, ‘Yes, but’ [dairy] I grew up in Devon, where you basically bathed in it.
“So even though I’m feeling better and singing better, there’s still a part left to throw away for four Weetabixes and a double cream. And I will one day. You will have to.
“When we first went to America, I wondered why we were still sick, and I wondered while drinking 12 strawberry milkshakes. It was.
“The other day I milked a goat, but I didn’t participate.
